$200 Google Tablet – 7″ Nexus to launch in March – Reports
The rumours of Google coming up with an own branded tablet PC heats up and various sources have pointed out that Google Nexus tablet will be very much be available in March or April this year.
Its reported from various sources that the Google’s tablet will feature seven inches panel and needless to say that this will be powered with Google’s Android operating system for smartphones and tablets PCs. Reports also hints that it will be one of the tight competitors to Amazon Kindle Fire and will be priced for less than $ 200.
However, it’s also reported that Google Taiwan has commented that company has never heard about such plans of launching a tablet PC. This denied reports looks overshadowed with Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt reportedly admitting to Corriere della Serra, an Italian newspaper in next six months, Google will be marketing a tablet of best quality.
Apple iPad 3 is expected to hit in Spring this year and will feature far higher specifications with screen resolution four times better than existing iPad 2 and quad-core processor looks more likely. If Google has to compete first up, they have to work hard to overtake iPad 3 but it may actually be targeting Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet.
Google also pointed out that they would be selling this tablet once their music, films and books stores are fully fledged. So we can easily guess that Kindle Fire competitor is already in making. True or not! Google tablet will be a 7 inches entertainment device costing under $ 200 and reports hints of its announcement during the Mobile World Congress in February last week.
