Access Android Phone Photos, Listen Music, Watch Movies, Files via WiFi

AndroidAdvices TipsHere comes another interesting tip for Android mobile phones. Now you can access your Android device from any PC which is connected to your network? Do that sound really amazing? Let me introduce you to Browsix. In this article we will go through technology by Browsix to listen music, watch movie and files.

Browsix is an amazing tool by which you can access your mobile phone fully with just Wi-Fi signal. It doesn’t require to be connected with any USB cables or doesn’t require configuring your Bluetooth.

With Browsix you get access to view the photos, play music, watch videos and manage many of the other files through simple user interface on your PC of your mobile. You can also have control on the SMS and contacts of your phone.

  • You first need to ensure that you have downloaded the Browsix Lite. The developers from Browsix have developed Browsix which is a paid app priced at above $2 and Browsix Lite is free Android app.Browsix Open
  • Once installed you need to name your device and then you need to tap on “Start Browsix”. Now the work on your phone is done and you just need to visit your browsix.com or the website URL mentioned there to start using your Android phone on your PC.Start Browsix
  • As you see I have just open Browsix.com and Home of it I see devices by name “Yo” been displayed. Remember it will only show the devices which are using the Browsix app on their phone and importantly they should be using the same Wi-Fi network. Click on the device to access the files and folder inside it.Browsix Open
  • With that I just went straight to Files option and I was pleased to see my SD card showing out there with different folder. With that you can now easily download photos or any file on to your PC wirelessly without the need of any physical wired connection.Browsix
  • Also when I clicked on Phone tab, I was able to see messages and contacts as visible on my phone and same thing are displayed here. You can even compose new SMS, forward SMS, reply back to an SMS and see contacts directly on your PC. That is just wonderful.Browsix Phone
  • When I click on Music tab which will show all the audio tracks present on my mobile phone and with just one click you can play any music.Browsix Music
  • Also in the video tab you will see all the video present on your mobile phone and with one click it would be easily played on to the Browsix site.Browsix SMS

Well, if you are thinking that it will not be secured solution then you are wrong. You can setup password access of your phone on Browsix in your phone through the Settings tap on your phone.

    I want to know that, How can I get it work?

    I’ve a Symbian^3 phone which has the app Joikuspot using which I can create a WiFi Hotspot. The next thing I did is connected my Android phone to this WiFi Hotspot and followed all the Browix steps given above, but it didn’t work. Can you please help me with this matter?

      With Browix you can access your Android phone but not any other mobile phone.

    A password yes. But what will the Browsix guys do with my data? They can easily copy it and use and abuse it as they want.

    will i b able to view my comps content in my tab using this?

      No that is not possible but the content on your phone can viewed on your PC. Not sure of tablet whether it works or not! I guess it should work because what it needs is just the Android app to be compatible.
