Acer ICONIA Tab A100 gets Android 3.2.1 Update
Though Acer doesn’t have much impact on Android when it comes to smartphones, it has strong hold on tablet section. The Acer ICONIA Tab has been tagged as the top 5 Android tablets with very good hardware specifications. ICONIA Tab A100 is packed with NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset with 1 Ghz dual core processor and with 5 mega pixel & 2 MP camera with auto focus and LED flash.
In the news we have a on the air update to the Acer Iconia Tab A100 which is a Honeycomb 3.2 powered Android tablet. The users from France, Italy, Japan have been reported to have been distributed with this update and Canada has mix reaction from the users as some has not yet received it. One must be awaiting the Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich as it has long list of features and its the future base of Android but sadly to the Acer ICONIA users this is just a small update to Honeycomb 3.2.1.
The update is file size at 244 MB and it’s just a minor update showing the Honeycomb version as 3.2.1. To check whether this update is available on your A100 tablet, tap on the Menu > Settings > About Phone and then tap on the Check Now at System Update. There is no changelog available with this version and observed that this update provides the updated version of Android Marketplace.
