Hi – how can I stop the market app trying to upgrade all my apps for each gmail account I’ve registered?

I only want one instance of each app and only really want to use them through one gmail account.

When I go to sign in, it just states “there is already an account of this name on the phone” and I can’t get any further.

Not a bad artical but my problem is how do I remove an unwanted gmail account? The only way I can find is to return my phone back to it’s orginal factory settings and that will wipe out everything I have on the phone. There has to be a way to simply remove an unwanted account or didn’t anyone think of that.

Just a small rectification: due to some reason Google applications aren’t available in Market from some time now.
No Gmail, no Market. Must be obtained from other sources.

Yes they are. You obviously can’t download the market app if you don’t have the market app but the rest of the google apps are certainly available in the market. I just flashed my phone to the latest GPA15 release last week and it doesn’t come with any google apps BUT the market. I downloaded and installed everything just fine.
