And here comes an all new HTC One Android smartphone. While the naming convention which HTC will be using is currently unaware, but this smartphone will surely create some ripples. HTC has finaly lifted the curtains when it comes to the launch date. HTC will be announcing the launch of All new HTC One on March 25 in London and New York. Along with the launch date, we also managed to mention on how the All new HTC One will look like as mentioned below. It seems like HTC is really taking some hard core inspiration from Apple by leaking the Gold color smartphone along with the name “All new HTC One”. While its almost just more than a month for HTC to think about the name, this phone is surely the most awaited fans who liked HTC One android smartphone. HTC will look to make sure to get rid off the bugs which HTC One smartphones had w.r.t camera etc.
The HTC One 2 that was revealed earlier via 3D printed mock up is now dubbed as HTC M8 and some specifications came out from a well known leaker, @evleaks (Twitter name). He also suggested that the leaks are preliminary.
In his tweet, @evleaks said that the device dubbed as M8 will have a 5 inch Full HD 1080p display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM874 processor coupled with a 2 GB RAM and an UltraPixel camera on its back and a 2.1 MP front camera. The M8 will also feature 802.11a/b/g/b/ac Wi-Fi connectivity and will be running on KitKat under the Sense 6.0 UI (User interface) on top.
This HTC One successor will be the first handset running on HTC Sense 6.0 and the processor seems to be an Qualcomm processor (Snapdragon 805) as we mentioned in our earlier post and the rear camera coming with UltraPixels is not sure how many pixels it would carry but in the previous rumors it was expected to carry a 4 MP camera like its predecessor HTC One.
Although the leaks did not suggest any release date to us but we are expected to see it in the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2014 that will be held in Barcelona in the month of February. We are still not sure of the name it would get but am very much excited to get this flagship device from HTC very soon. The Sense 6.0 UI will be another point to be noted as it will be the first time featuring a device expected to come with many changes.
So are you waiting for this HTC’s new flagship? Wait till MWC this year, and we will be there covering all the details and keep you updated.
The successor to the HTC One, code named as HTC One 2 is made up of resin has got revealed with its 3D mock-up giving an outer look of what this device is going to look like. This resin mock up is made using specifications given to the creator by an insider.
The sources also suggested that this device will be the next generation of the flagship HTC One that could be revealed at Mobile World Congress 2014 (MWC) in Barcelona, mostly last week of February. This device looks similar to the original HTC One but has a 5 inch display instead of a 4.7 inch seen in its predecessor. This display is about to come with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution giving it a slightly lesser 441 ppi than the original HTC One flagship model which had 468 ppi, similar ppi that can be seen on the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Most likely HTC One 2 will go with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor to power the device, but if it decides to roll out with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 then we can see a video output at 4K resolution. This would likely be happening for the device, giving the best quality videos for its customers.
From the resin mock up design we can expect two speakers on the front side of the HTC One 2 branded with its own BoomSound speakers which has become a noticeable thing from HTC line up from past. The design with a bigger hole beside the rear camera suggest that this device will be rolling out with double flash or it could even be a mic hole also. The cameras are going to remain the same 4 MP (rear) and 2.1 MP (front) as we saw in the original HTC One flagship Android phone.
In the storage side, the device is expected with a 16 GB on-board memory that is likely to be extended with a microSD card slot. This device will be rolling out the box with Android 4.4 KitKat OS that will be ready to be unleashed. The pricing of the device cannot be predicted as we are not sure of all the specifications yet, but definitely it will be a high end model expected in high range.
We are pretty much excited to see HTC One 2 (the name might be changed!) very soon in the market, so does you? Will you be ready for the device?
