The Samsung Galaxy S II has been successfully update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in most part of the world and every one who owns Galaxy Note N7000 in United States waited for this update since a long time. The Android 4.0 ICS for Galaxy Note international version was delivered two months ago and it was leaked three months ago via custom firmware’s. More happiness as the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket users can see this update available to them as well.
It’s now official that AT & T and Samsung jointly announce the launch of Android 4.0 Premium Suite update for Samsung Galaxy Note phone. The update will go live to the users from July 10. For some users the updates might release pretty early. As you know that among the improvements and enhancements included in the Android 4.0 ICS includes a long list of features. The features included in these updates are the faces unlock features, data usage management in easy way, Android Beam via NFC support. For AT & T users, the updates are pretty much straight forward as that of the international released version. For Galaxy S II Skyrocket these are the normal update just like the international version of the Galaxy S II.
These updates are been more called as “Premium Suite” rather than the normal Android 4.0 update and the reason for this is that Samsung has pushed not just the software version update but they have added few more Note specific features. As we go through in detail with Premium Suite, S Note app has been updated to provide the new function menu with few neat tricks. You can draw shapes and re draw them as polygons in perfect shape.
Since Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has been launched, the Samsung Galaxy Note will soon be also updated to Android 4.1 upgrade as well. These updates are been pushed via the Samsung PC tool for mobile, Samsung KIES available for Windows based PC only. The build number is I727UCLF6.
