I am sorry to state that sooner or later, all the products that you have mentioned will become obsolete.

Just look at Energiser XP18000 mAh external battery pack. I bought it around 20 days back. It is working fine. Let me explain a bit more.

It’s size is 18cm x 11cm x 1.7cm and weighs around 0.5 kg. It can be charged from 220V AC, in around 2 hours. Then it can charge almost every phone, mp3 player, camera, laptop etc thru USB and other outputs. They have given Charging-Tips for almost all the devices.

I was able to charge my SGS2 for around 8 times (from 30-40% battery to 100% battery of my SGS2). I did this exercise of charging the XP18000 twice and it gave me almost similar results.

I bought this thru ebay.com and have paid INR 11365.00. I am completely satisfied with this product.

    Advantages:
Don’t have to invest on extra battery which may be specific to a mobile.
Works with almost all the products, as mentioned above.
Changing the battery from the mobile’s case every time damages the cover, but here it is avoided.
Can charge many times (not once) depending on the capacity of the device’s battery.
Ideally suited for travelers, trekkers as it can charge the phone and camera at the same time.
I have checked up this product with Samsung Service Center, and they have said that it is perfectly OK.

Any type of queries are most welcome. I am glad to answer.

Good article. Tried every battery saver and adjusted every setting out there on my EVO. Nothing helped except putting in the 3500 mAH battery… Easily goes 24 hours with hard use and 30+ if I’m at home using WiFi. Paid around $30 at gorillagadgets.

Dont it effects the phone as extenders hav the higher power in mAh as the company provides ib the ph…. they can also put higher mAhpower battry wich increase d power of battery n demand too in market..but they dont becoz it effects the o.s of ph. as ph. have also power limits …how much its efficiency
