Blackberry Motion with 5.5″ FHD Display & IP67 Technology Launched

Blackberry has been in the news couple of months onwards, and earlier rumors have been suggested that it was Blackberry Krypton. Now, it has officially announced the Motion smartphone at an event GITEX 2017 event. This phone has developed & manufactured by China-based TCL communications. The new smartphone is packed with pre-installed applications along with BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Calendar, and DTEK by BlackBerry apps. The Blackberry Motion smartphone comes with an IP67 technology which protects the device from the water and dust. It has an aluminum frame design with the softly textured back panel.

The Blackberry Motion smartphone is running on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system which is also further getting the Android 8.0 Oreo update in early 2018. It comes with a 5.5-inch display which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 16:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it comes powered by a 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, which provides seamless multi-tasking experience. It is a dual SIM phone carried by a 4G LTE connectivity.

There is a 32GB of internal memory which has also supported an external memory via microSD card slot. For photography, it bears a 12MP rear-facing camera and has an 8MP secondary camera. This phone is backed by a 4000mAh capacity battery with QuickCharge 3.0 support, which is rated to deliver battery juice more than a day of normal usage. This phone has included a new feature called Locker, which you can store important documents and photos and that you only can see by providing a PIN number of the fingerprint.

This phone has provided a convenience key at the right edge of the device and power button has placed beside of convenience key which differs with a textured finish. Below the display, this phone has a Blackberry logo which embedded a physical home button and fingerprint sensor. The Blackberry Motion smartphone would be first available in the Middle East in U.A.E and is priced at AED 1,699 in UAE and SAR 1,699 in Saudi Arabia (approximately $460 / Rs. 30,000). The company hasn’t provided the information when will be available in the other markets.
