Spanish handset maker BQ Mobiles released two new smartphones in Europe 6-months ago named as BQ Aquaris X & Aquaris X Pro, which are priced at 279.90 euros and 329.90 euros respectively. Now, the company has expanded its portfolio with two new devices launched in Europe called as BQ Aquaris U2 and Aquaris U2 Lite, which are priced at 179.90 euros and 159.90 euros respectively. The both phones are the successor of the first series BQ Aquaris U phone which was launched in last year.
The both devices sport a 5.2-inch HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio which offers a pixel density of 283ppi and brightness up to 520 nits. Moreover, both phones come with a 2.5D Multi-touch up to 10 fingers, Dinorex Crystal protection and have an Anti-fingerprint treatment used for the display. Under the hood, the Aquaris U2 phone is supercharged with a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor along with Adreno 505 graphics, while the Aquaris U2 Lite packed with a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 308 graphics.
The both devices would be fuelled by the same 3,100mAh capacity battery, which is rated to deliver all the day battery juice. For photography, the Aquaris U2 phone bears a 13MP primary camera and 5MP selfie shooter, while the U2 Lite comes with an 8MP rear-facing camera and 5MP secondary camera. For memory, both phones house a 16GB internal storage coupled with 2GB of RAM. With Hi-Fi and HD audio, the both smartphones would deliver theater sound experience.
Both devices are running on the Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system out of the box with pre-installed applications. The other standard connectivity options on this device include Dual nano-SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.2 support, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, NFC, Micro-USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, External memory card up to 256GB, which you can use microSD card slot instead of second SIM. Both phones are measured by 148.1 x 72.9 x 8.4 mm in dimensions and are weighing around 155 grams of weight.
