On Wednesday, Dolphin announced a new browser application for Android devices that will protect user’s privacy while you are browsing the web. The Dolphin Zero will automatically delete personal data and history on the mobile including browsing history, passwords, cookies, cache or any other things that are saved on the device. This will prevent us from being tracked and hacked by enabling the Do not track functionality to its fullest extent.

It isn’t a necessity if you are fine enough with the regular browsing and don’t want to hide anything, but this is a simple solution and rather a quick one when you wanted to have something which maintains the full privacy while you are browsing through your Android phone.

The application will delete the following data automatically when it is turned off.

  • Browser History
  • Favicons
  • Input Data
  • Address book
  • Cookies
  • Location Information

This isn’t a fully featured browser because there are no tabs, which means that you can only browse one page at the time, however it is browser set on Incognito Mode to protect from snooping ad networks. This browser is a relief to the persons who are concerned that they are being watched by the government organization, with this mobile browser that is all private any time. This Dolphin application runs on any device running on Android 2.2 or later.

Dolphin has joined with DuckDuckGo, which is the default search engine on the browser, Dolphin’s vice president Edith Yeung said. “Even though it’s impossible to go completely untracked on the mobile web, we have done everything to make a new product that goes beyond anything that you will find in the market right now. With Dolphin Zero, we do everything in our power to make the browsing experience your own.”
