Did you ever hear Casio as the smartphone manufacturer? Casio Computer is more often known for calculators and surprisingly I was able to find G’Zone Commando an Android smartphone manufactured by Casio. This is only the smartphone launched by Casio which was available via Verizon Wireless in United States only.
Casio Computers are working on the successor of G-Zone smartphone and this time it will be a bigger device competition with Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S II. Yes, the specifications of G’Zone successor have been leaked and we go through more specifications of this unknown phone. The phone might have 4.3 inches or bigger screen with Super AMOLED display and it will be powered with quad core processor likely is Tegra 3 processor. It will be running the 4G LTE providing the faster download and upload speed. More it will be featuring the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich overlay which is awaited by many of the users and you can just find few smartphones with ICS. That sounds interesting, added 8 mega pixel camera, NFC, Wi-Fi direct and even 2,000 mAh battery is on board.
It looks like Casio wants to enter in to Android smartphones development and be a competitor to Samsung or HTC as 4G LTE devices gets easy attention. The big question is when this device will be made available and what will be the price of it. The features looks good but if it takes more than three months from now on then it will be a common device with many competitors in the market. For Casio to be benefited with it, they have to launch this device at Mobile World Congress. We will write more about this upcoming Verizon Casio phone as soon as it happens. We might here more of this device in the coming up at Mobile World Congress Barcelona, Spain.
