Casio Launches Four Android 4.0 Business Tablets – Specs & Features

Casio has been into smart phones manufacturing from few years and with the launch of new Android tablet PCs they have marked they way into tablet PC segment as well with the launch of Caxio VX tablet which was announced in March this year. They have expanded their tablet product line by announced the launch of their new four tablets which are Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich powered devices especially catered for business performance and toughness. These tablets come with advanced power saving design technology. All these tablets are shock resistant, dust proof and splash proof and receive IP54 certification.Casio tablet PC

The four different models released by Casio are

  • V-N500 WJ tablet
  • N500 J tablet
  • T500 WJ tablet
  • T500 J tablet

All these tablets have similar specifications and features listed. These tablet are powered with OMAP 4460 dual core 1.5 Ghz processor and will be seen with 10.1 inches capacitive touchscreen display. It will have a 5 mega pixel camera on the rear side which can be used for photo capturing and video recording at 720p HD quality along with LED flash. These tablets will be with high speed data communication speed service providing connectivity to NTT DoCoMo providing a maximum speed of 75 Mbps. These tablets comes with 1 GB of RAM and 16 Gb of internal memory storage capacity

The tablet includes rechargeable battery which can provide power up to 12 hours in V-N500J model and T500J provides 10 hours of battery life. All these tablet supports NFC so which can be used for easy tap to share feature and it will be among those early tablets with NFC feature. This tablet includes micro Sd card slot to expand the memory storage capacity, USB 2.0 connectivity, Mini USB port and mini HDMI port. The V-N500 WJ model will weight 1.3 kgs and V T500 J model is is the lightest with 780 grams weight. The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich included in this tablets is the latest version of the Google’s released Android platform launched in December last year available for both tablet and smart phone. It features some of the newly introduced features like Face Unlock, Data Management, intuitive user interface and minimalistic design. This OS version makes multi-tasking easier, rich notifications, resizeable widgets, improved text and spell checker, powerful voice input engine, customized home screen and deep inter activity.

The tablets are compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 and its compatible with various devices and headsets mobile printer.
