Update: Cyanogen OS 12 update has began to roll out to all OnePlus One device owners today. The update provides a sweet material design as well as extra theming features (including a new App Themer), and it also brings forth Cyanogen’s new e-mail client.

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei on Twitter has informed that the CM12S release has finally passed that certification stage and will begin rolling out in the next few days. Earlier this week, Cyanogen’s FounderSteve Kondik has said that they were hoping to ship the CM12S update for the OnePlus One ‘in a day or two’.

Over a month ago, OnePlus told its users to expect two major software releases for their One handsets in just a matter of days: the first arrival of OxygenOS and the long-awaited CyanogenMod 12S update.
