DooGee HomTom HT6 Announced with a Massive 6,250mAh battery – Details

DooGee, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, announced a new sub-brand HomTom to launch the smartphones with larger battery capacities. The first device from the brand is ‘HomTom HT6‘ and the USP of the device is its battery of 6,250mAh capacity.

Earlier to this we have seen a 6,020mAh battery on the Gionee Marathon M5, which was launched last month. Gionee launches its bigger battery capacity smartphones under its Marathon series.

Apart from the battery, there is no much information about the device except few specifications. The HomTom HT6 sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720) IPS display and powered by a MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor.

It comes with a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 5MP front camera. From the image, we can see an alloy frame around the device. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and will be just 9.9mm thick.

If you think of the time taken by the device for a full charge, it will be charged from 0% to 75% in just 30 minutes. This happens with MediaTek PumpExpress Plus technology that offers quick charging capabilities.

DooGee recently teased with a few images of its new luxury Android smartphone. Though the company doesn’t mentioned specs and other details, the reports suggest that the DooGee Titan 3 T3 will be launched during the IFA 2015. The rumored specifications of the device are MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

It also has 16GB of internal storage with microSD card slot with up to 64GB support. The unique feature of the Titan 3 T3 is its secondary display on the top to show time and notifications. The device also features iris scanner and will be water proof.

Since there is no official information from the company, take it with a pinch of salt until we have confirmed a source.
