Download – Best Scientific Calculator App for Android Phones

Real Calc LogoIt’s been very long since the invention of pocket sized Scientific calculators but it seems that Mobile handset manufacturers still doesn’t find urgency in including the same by default in the Mobile devices, be it Symbian, Apple or even the latest Android, everyone seems to have forgotten to add the much needed Scientific Calculator in the mobile handset. Anyways, for things which generally mobile manufacturers forget to add, there are always third party softwares to help us by designing the apps according to our needs and requirements.

Real Calc

So today, let’s check out the app which is called as Real Calc, this app is for Android advices. Generally, scientific calculators are bit complex in looks but looks like Real Calc has worked on the user interface and took pains in simplifying the overall feel and look of the calculator. With a big list of advance feature lists like powers, roots, algorithms, exponential functions, percentage calculations, trigonometric functions, binary, hex, octal and other logical operator functions this scientific calculator is worth making its place on your Android smart phone. After all, this app adds the extra smartness into your phone.

Equation plotter

This app also has 10 memories with memory contents dialog for store and recall, optional RPN Mode for better calculations. And also can solve all sorts of Factorials, permutations and combinations very easily. What’s more are you can also plot the equation curve which generally no other normal scientific calculator does? This app can easily downloaded from Android Market Place, all you need to do is to just type in Real Calc in the search box and from the list select the same and tap on Install to download and install the same, if your data plan is limited then not to worry as this app is just around 130 KB in size. You can also download this application directly by simply scanning the QR Code which is shown below.

    I would like to recommend a new scientific calculator for Android: PG Calculator

    PG Calculator is a powerful scientific and financial calculator for Android with customizable user interface.

    PG Calculator works in Algebraic and RPN modes.

    PG Calculator is available in three different versions: Free, Standard and Pro.

    PG Calculator allows to use mathematical functions described below:

    Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division;
    * Power and roots;
    * Trigonometric functions: sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan;
    * Hyperbolic functions;
    * natural and decimal logarithms;
    * factorials;
    * conversion between binary, octal, hexadecimal, decimal and scientific (exponential) number formats;
    * Time Value of Money solver;
    * IP Subnet Calculator;

    There is a library of common mathematical and physical constants which can be used in calculations in both RPN and Algebraic modes. PG Calculator also allows to use user-defined variables in expressions.

    PG Calculator has built-in Time Value of Money solver and IP Subnet Calculator.

    The user interface of the calculator can be changed by using various skins supplied with the application.

    Woah that seems to be a powerful calculator. Algorithms, trigonometry and binary calculations too being done in it, the app is surely a great alternative to the simple calculator tool provided by the Android OS by default.
