After this manual installation, whether i’m able to use market further or Google play ll replace it?

    • yes you will be able to!

      • Frank Lazar says:

It will replace the original Market application, but you’ll still have access to the samemarket. Note that if you had to hack your device to get the basic Market on the unit the application may refuse to install.

I was able to put Market on my Nextbook 7, but even after downloading the google play apk, the installer started to process it, clearly recognised the application then said that it would not be installed. There may very well be a profile required to do so. The google market recognises my device as a generic phone. (which it isn’t) so I’m able to download most of what I could for my Optimus but not all of it. Curiously enough I was able to get Netfix to install and run.

Thanks so much! I did a software update on my HTC Inspire yesterday that updated to a newer version of android. I had received the google play update before the update, but since the update i had not yet received it. i tried to purchase something from the market and couldn’t bill it to AT&T anymore. Google said talk to AT&T and AT&T said talk to Google. this download has fixed this issue completely! Also, I downloaded straight to my phone and completely skipped the computer part of the download. It worked great just downloading to my phone. Thanks again!!
