I’ve now tried Iris, Sara, & the updated version of Google’s Voice Search. I used the same questions, spoke clearly, & fast using a Plantronics M1100 Savor headset. I need directions from Hillsborough, NC to Durham, NC.My grades & brief comments follow:

Iris: D – Doesn’t understand or times out quickly. Read back question correctly both verbally & as text on screen, but instead of answering the question, asked me on, Who would you usually get that from? (LOL!)

Sara: F – Useless. Tap microphone icon upon app entry & this appears with voice overlay: Sara: What can I help you with? I spoke again but mic not on. Tap mic icon on current page & dialog box pops up stating (no voice): Type some text for Sara. So, I simply typed in \directions\ & the verbal & text response was \Sara: Sorry, but this doesn’t make sense for me.\ (LOL x100!; start this one over from scratch.

Voice Search: C+ – Understood original question & everyone following it. Only reason I gave it a C=, the results were from Google search (I can easily type in myself) & ONLY TEXT WITH NO VOICE AT ALL.

“sorry but i dont know what you mean” is about all you can get from this app.
The time it takes for SARA to do anything intelligent, yu may as well have done it yourself !
    Uninstalling …
