How to Enable or Disable Data Roaming on Galaxy Tab

When you are on a tour or a visit to some other place out of your hometown or the state in which you reside, then make sure to check out your data usage while you are roaming. Its clear that state owned BSNL 3G data usage is free all over India but the private telecom providers have won rights in certain areas and they buy frequencies from other provider to run their services. That is why the companies have come up data roaming plans for 3G but 2G data browsing is free on various mobiles and tablets.

For all those who are using Samsung Galaxy Tab have a good news that their tablet is capable of disable or enable data roaming with few clicks on the go. Here is how we do it –

Go to Settings from the Menu and then tap on the Wireless and Networks option. This is the place where you manage network connections such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VPN and mobile networks.
Among the various options listed select Mobile Networks.Mobile Network Settings
As soon as you tap on the Mobile network settings, you will find the option of ‘Data Roaming‘.

Data Roaming

When you tick it, it gives the option to connect to mobile network when you are in roaming and untick will provide make mobile network data disabled during roaming.

    i have looked on my galaxy tab 3 and it does not show mobile networks any were. were will i find it please help

      no, telephone will continue to work, only data connection (gprs) will not work!
