All the guys having Boot loop issue. I followed following 2 steps to get it working.

    1. Root the phone using

(Not sure if this step is required, you may try skipping this as I didn’t see any change after applying this pack)

    2. Do not wipe data/cache before applying Wifi fix patch.

    3. Wipe only cache after the patch. DO NOT WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET.

    4. Reboot system.

    5. Say thanks if it works for you so that I know its working!!! 😉

    Enjoy ICS. 🙂

I had installed firmware 4.0.3 rc1 over miui as stated which works fine also rooting works fine, but wifi does not even switch on. if i install this so called fix i keep getting the constant reboot and cannot get into recovery mode even when i take out and reinsert the battery. can u help or even sugest a fix that works. other people on this have said the same as me.

        December 23, 2011 at 5:37 pm

I was on MIUI and all was well, I installed the ICS 4.0.3 and worked properly only no wifi, and then I wanted to fix over WiFi fix, of course, before that! I did root the ICS 4.0.3
But when I installed wifi-fix system was not able to boot but got stuck on samsung logo, the bigger problem is that I could not get into the recovery mode but at least I was able to dovnload mode so I returned to 2.3.6VZ
All I have repeated, MIUI installed – installed 4.0.3 ICS – ICS 4.0.3 root – and then WIFI-FIX but the problem is still there.

odin back to stock… flash semaphore kernel coz u need cwm to flash ics 4.0.3 rc1… then flash cm 7.1… then wipe… now from recovery flash the fugumod kernel… then flash the rc1 zip… flash wifi fix and then finally superuser fix… if u do this u are good to go… u might get bootloops… if u get any, just pull out the battery and the flash rc1 zip file again 🙂
