On XXJVS I encounter bluetooth problems: it doesn’t always start. The phone reboot solve the problem for a while, but after one or two days the same happened.

After this upgrade the following situation happened: the phone screen remains black as in standby, whatever I have pressed. It rings on call, I was able to answer using the home button and get the call, but the screen was still black; the conversation was ok in booth ways. I get the battery out to restart it. It happened only once, otherwise it works fine.

Is it neccessary to apply this patch to the XXJVP/Q/R baseband before updating to custom rom?
updating alone to custom rom without this patch to the baseband will fix those bugs?

    • NeaL Pradeep

      September 7, 2011 at 2:49 pm

yes! it works on the plain vanilla firmwares of XXJVP/Q/R

It’s happened the same to me, but with DiallerOne. Go to Application icon, press Menu – Edit and drag any icon you want down to the home menu.
For me I am not sure it’s happened because of backup/restore or something else, but finaly everything was ok.
