Gajah 7″ Kids Tablet with Android 4.0 ICS Proto-type – Specs & Features

Gajah International is a Singapore based firm and during their recent visited at Computex 2012 fair show at Taipei they have come up with a proto type of their upcoming Android tablet that they have designed. Though this tablet is under development they were able to bring the device for hands-on and this is purely a kids tablet as we see in the picture.

Gajah Tablet

Gajah hasn’t introduced this tablet and neither they have named this tablet. Going through the specification as specified during their show case, it would be a 7 inches tablet with Android 4.0 the latest operating system pre installed on it. It would be thus the first kids tablet which would be powered with Android 4.0 pre installed on the device itself. This would be introduced with 1 Ghz single core CPU and 512 MB of RAM. The tablet features 32 GB of the internal storage capacity.

The good thing which are stand out is the thick and rugged case of the tablet along with a simplified user interface with colorful wallpapers and easy understandable user interface. Its designed keeping children in mind so that they even a 8 years old child can easily understand what options is meant for what.

So if this tablet comes up in the market within three months then there would be tight competition to the existing leader in Kids tablets. Its not that Gajah International can’t sell tablet, they already been selling M7001 and M7003 tablets with 7 inches form factor and Android 2.2 OS in the Hong Kong market. Also we hear that Gajah won’t be selling this tablet under their own brand but they are seeking partners to rebrand this tablet and sell it internationally at a price which is affordable by one and all.
