Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 version of tablet device just before the the Mobile World Congress 2013 official unveiling, and the company announced that the device would be made available for sale from the second quarter of 2013. The body of the device is kept similar to that of the previous Note devices, being something in between the Note II and the Note 10.1, and the screen size is larger than the Galaxy Tab.
This is a pretty powerful device with the 1.6GHz A9 Quad-core processor that comes with the WXGA display and the operating system included in the Note 8.0 is the latest one, i.e. Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. The multitasking and heavy usage is supported by 2GB of RAM, and there is 16/32GB of internal storage which can still be expanded using a MicroSD card.
The Note 8.0 continues the trend from the earlier Note versions, by having the SIM card support and the voice-calling function. The device has got two cameras, the rear one being a 5-megapixel shooter while the front camera has got a 1.3-megapixel lens. The Note 8.0 has got a 4600 mAh battery and although so much packed in, the thickness is not much with the Note 8.0 having a thickness of 7.95mm. (Dimensions: 210.8mm x 135.9mm x 7.95mm).
The Jelly Bean OS is skinned with the TouchWiz User Interface, and this is all powered up by the special features that were seen in the Samsung Galaxy S III, including Smart Stay, Multi-Window and Air View functionality, Popup video and note, as well as AllShare Play and Cast.
Samsung has made this tablet device with all the abilities, as an entertainment and productive device, as well as a reader. To support the latter, there’s a reading mode which would adjust the LCD display for a better reading experience.
There’s a lot more to talk about, we would do that when we share what’s the best included in the Note 8.0. As of now, the availability is said to be there from the 2nd quarter of 2013.

While it was all about 4K TVs by all the leading manufacturers in CES, it seems like all mobile manufacturers will go big in MWC and in the fray for launching smartest gadgets, who better than Samsung is? SAMSUNG is all set to showcase the 8 incher tablet which will be dubbed as GALAXY TAB 3. After much controversies and bans across many countries for its TAB 1 as well as for TAB 2, Samsung will be showcasing the Tab 3 smart tablet in MWC.
