So, to make things simple for all the Galaxy Note 2 lovers and Galaxy S IV dreamers, we have compared the features and specs of both these neck to neck with the help of close to 25 parameters. Not just on specs, Samsung has actually focused more on the features this time compared to mere hardware specs which is a very good sign as HTC One too gives a tough for Galaxy S4 smartphone.

Built Quality, Look & Feel:
Both the handsets, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S IV looks somewhat similar, but when you talk of built quality, looks and feel then Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone takes it away the point here. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 too is not bad when talked about the built quality, look and feel but when it’s compared with the latest flagship model, it gives bow down to S IV.

But all thanks to the PPI as S4 comes with Ful HD resolution and a PPI of 441 compared to the PPI of 267 of Samsung Galaxy Note II. When talked about the performance, then this Galaxy Note 2 comes with the Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A9 while Samsung Galaxy SIV comes with the Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15 processor.

Memory:
Samsung Galaxy SIV comes with 2GB of RAM and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 too comes with 2GB of RAM but when you talk of internal memory, then Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with 16/32/64 GB of internal memory and Galaxy S IV comes with the same internal memory options 16/32/64 GB. Both Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy S IV comes with the external memory card slot.

Battery Life:
While Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with the 2600 Mah of Battery Life, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with mere 3100Mah of battery life. So, in a nutshell if you are into 3G gaming, internet browsing, music playback, a few Youtube videos, then it’s better to opt for Samsung Note 2. But with bigger screen of Galaxy Note 2, it might just drain the battery faster than the Galaxy S IV.

  4. I just bought Note 2 and will wait to try S4 or for next model a year after.
