LG Nexus 4 smartphone was earlier launched by LG and Google to mark the launch of Jellybean Android firmware and now with the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy S4 smartphone, the real fight has begun. With Google subsidizing the Nexus 4 heavily, Samsung is all here to capture the lost sheen in the last few months which was the result of Nexus 4 getting sold out. So, to make things simple for you, we thought of comparing Nexus 4 and Galaxy S4 with the help of a tabular specs.

Samsung Galaxy S4

Built Quality, Look & Feel:
Speaking of Built quality, LG and Google had taken efforts in building a superb smartphone which unfortunately Samsung has failed to match the same with its S IV smartphone. Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with the thickness of 7.9mm while LG Nexus 4 comes with 9.1mm thickness.

Performance & Screen Quality:
With Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor, LG Nexus 4 may feel marginally slower than that of Galaxy S4’s Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15 processor, but when the difference in cost between is 2 times then obviously Nexus 4 provides value for money. Nexus 4 comes with the 318 ppi pixel density while Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with 441 PPI which is very huge.

All thanks to the poor marketing strategy by LG as despite huge demand, it failed to increase the supplies to meet the demand. Samsung Galaxy S4 comes in two exciting colors which are White Frost, Black Mist while Galaxy Nexus comes in single color which is Premium Black.

We just hope that LG increases its capacity to cater the people who can’t afford to buy Galaxy S4.

S4 – Higher PPI, bigger screen size, bigger int memory option, ext sd Card option, bigger AND removable battery, bigger Megapixel camera and has high speed “ac” wifi built-in. Not bad specs in comparison to the Nexus 4, which is only much cheaper because of Google subsidies.

$349 for my Nexus 4 vs. $699 for the Galaxy S4. Is the Galaxy worth twice the value. I think not!

Finally Nexus 4 is future android version proof which S4 is not. Therefore Nexus 4 will be better in long run.
