Galaxy SL I9003 – Steps to Update with Best Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware
AOKP, Cyanogen Mod and Paranoid team has come together for coming out with the most stunning custom ROM firmware which is based on Jellybean 4.1.2 firmware version till now for Samsung Galaxy SL I9003. Though Samsung has forgotten this smartphone but neither developers nor AndroidAdvices have forgotten the device. So, over a period of this article we will be checking out on how to apply this Jellybam Android 4.1.2 firmware in your Galaxy SL I9003 smartphone. In the past few days we have been seeing many new custom ROM firmwares for various devices and time has come for the I9003 Galaxy SL users to experience the magic of Jellybean 4.1.2 firmware.
Pre Requisites:
- Create a backup of all the data with the help of below mentioned steps so as to make sure that just in case if the data gets wiped off or gets corrupted, the same can be restored with the help of below mentioned steps. - Enable the USB Debugging from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. Ensure that the minimum battery life should be 30% so as to ensure that the phone doesn’t get turned Off in the middle of update. Disable / uninstall all the security suites installed in your phone.

there are some bugs in this as its still in the initial builds
not update….at running time it show errors…error no-7
just reapply the update after clearing the cache
I installed it and it looks great in my i9003. Well there has been issues with wifi and usb tethering with every custom rom and this rom is no exception. Gtalk crashes sometimes, but I can handle that by using some other apps. Google Now in i9003 is great thanks to Pradeep Neela. Battery drains very fast and I am charging my phone three times a day. Please fix it in the next update. I am looking forward to it. Thanks again.

its consume minimum 400 mb ram… other thing is good….
i am getting an error during the process it is not able to mount the sdcard
what can i do ????
this time it read the sdcard but dosent show the zip file i have copied to the device and while updating the the sdcard/update.zip it is not able to open and showing installation aborted
hiii….i am asking the developers when they release bugs free version for samsung gti-9003 ? i use this firmware last night its working fine but the option in wifi —tethering & portable hotspot (portable wifi hotspot ) not working…..plz fix this bug wifi…and its take more then RAM..plz optimize..some other found bugs i will tell them as soon as..now i enjoy this firmware…

Wow is what we could say after seeing the custom ROM applied. But when games like death dome are played it takes very long time to load and then closes automatically. Small games like Temple run stuck in between. Pls suggest. This happens in both Remics and Jellybam.

I am unable to connect to WiFi in this ROM. It constantly says ” Temporarily avoiding poor connection ” after giving the password of my wi-fi network. I am sitting next to my router.
