With so many updates and other ROMs coming everyone would want to have a backup of their stock official ROM which will be very handy if anything goes wrong with the flashed ROMs. Generally flashing with various ROMs is not liked by the phone manufacturers and hence voids the warranty but that’s when operators come to know about the same. But if we flash with say, Gingerbread for Spice or say any other ROM we can go back to official ROM which will again load your device with all factory settings. By doing this no one can make out whether you had ever flashed your device or not.
Please note that in the due course of the backup, you are requested on not to disconnect your phone from your PC during the procedure and also ensure that a constant power supply is there while taking the backup. Before proceeding, you will have to download the Spice Eclair Update.
