Thanks! This was really helpful… I felt handicapped without my Swype Keyboard and now I have it on my new Droid – Dell XCD35

    Installation was a piece-o’-cake!

I tried installing Swype on my HTC Desire 2. It all follows through as it should, but when I try to change my input method, Swype is not an option. I still only have Qwerty/phone keypad and compact qwerty ….*shrugs* and yes, swype is enabled

Hi again Neal, sorry to bother you, but i am sure it does not have swype. After using at Optus Today, swype is not an option on the keypad. And i couldn’t find it in input options. Here is a link to the phone on Optus australia-http://www.optus.com.au/store/phone/optimusblack. Swype is not listed here?? :/. So if it doesn’t have swype, can it be installed, or will i have the same problem as Daniel above ^^? Because no swype is the only thing making me not buy this phone, but if i can install it succesfuuly, then i will buy it.

          Thanks, :)

    Hello Again Neal,
I got my new Lg Optimus Black, and let me say, it is a fantastic phone. But I am having a problem when downloading swype. When i got to the link from my email on my phone, I go to download the Installer. But it keep saying “download failed”. Why is this?
    Thanks in advance :D
