How to turn your Android phone into Wi-Fi analyzer?

Wi Fi Analyzer LogoWiFi, which is there in almost on every Android mobile phone is buggy and most of the times WiFi in Android displays the old values of SSID along with the channel name even after the changed settings. So, let’s check out an alternative to the default WiFi for your Android which will make things easier for you to analyze and choose the WiFi as per your selection and choice. The application which is named as Wifi Analyzer itself basically helps you to choose a better channel for your Wireless Router. Channel is a range of radio frequencies that an access point or the router uses it to communicate with your android phone or other Wi-Fi enabled devices as the WiFi channels are arranged in the overlapping pattern and also the side by side channels share particular range of bandwidth and interfere with each other.

So, now how can you choose the right channel? For this you need not choose the same channel which is used by other networks and then don’t share the bandwidth with others. You can easily know the channel usage around you as with the help of WiFi analyzer on your Android device you can easily switch to the Channel Graph which can be seen on the visualized graph.

Also, most importantly the Ad Hoc networks are not officially supported by Android devices, but this application can recognize them too which helps you to simply the connection further. You can make use of the “channel rating” view and also as soon as you Press “MENU” key, “View”, “Channel rating”, you’ll see a list of ratings of all channels. Press “MENU” again, “Set my AP”, choose your router by name and MAC address, you can see the rating of yours. Higher rating means better connection quality.

That’s a pretty good app. Searching and analyzing the wifi speed is what I have not seen in any normal android phone.
