Procedures to Check Software Update in HTC AMAZE 4G:

There are two ways with which you can update your phone which are the manual as well as the Automatic update which we will see in the due course of this procedure.

Manual Update:

  • From your Home Screen, you need to press the “menu” key and tap on “About Phone”.
  • Up next, you need to tap on the “HTC Software updates” and then tap on “Check”.
  • Now, just in case if there is any update available then all you need to do is to just sit back, ensure that the Wi Fi or data connectivity is there after which just follow the On screen instructions.
  • So once the phone gets updated to the Gingerbread 2.3.5 successfully, you will now need to check the version of firmware.
  • You can check the firmware version from the path “Settings > About Phone > Firmware Version” where you will find the version of Android OS where it will show 1.43.531.3 Gingerbread 2.3.4 firmware version.
