HTC One X and One V arrives in India – Specs & Features

The HTC One X and One V smartphones which were showcased at Mobile World Congress in February last weekly, now finally arrives in India. HTC has announced that these devices would be available from April 2, 2012 in India. HTC One Series of smartphones are focused on music and camera capabilities. Interesting HTC is yet to come up with One XL, One S smartphones which were also announced along with these two devices. These devices are not just launched in India, but they are available in Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong as well.

HTC One X

The HTC One X will be priced at Rs 35,000 and it will take on Samsung Galaxy Note whereas One V is set to a price of Rs 17,000 and its suggested that it’s a mid range smartphone ready to take of Samsung Galaxy R. It would be sold at leading stores in India from April 2, 2012.

HTC One X Smartphone

Going through the HTC One X, it’s an extra ordinary quad core powered smartphones which gives you fast web browsing and remarkable faster response time and speed. Competing with Galaxy Nexus, it comes with 4.7 inches Super IPS LCD2 display with scratch resistant glass display. This device is much talked because this would be the first quad core smartphone to be available in India and its first of its kind in HTC. Interesting, this would be the second smartphone in India which comes with Android 4.0 pre installed on it and users would love to blend the lovely user interface of Ice Cream Sandwich on this phone.

HTC One X

This smartphone also introduces HTC Sense 4 which is a beautiful customized user interface by HTC. The good thing about this phone just doesn’t end there as its powered with 1.5 Ghz quad core processor and comes with 8 mega pixel camera supporting full HD video recording and battery of 1800 mAh will last for longer period of operation. It would be interesting to see how this phone performs in benchmark tests.

HTC shares that this phone comes with ImageSense which complete enhance the performance of the camera by adding various functions. Camera in this phone can take photos within 0.7 seconds and it comes with new technology to burst mode pictures, one that you find in common DLSR cameras. With the video recording ON, you can tap the shutter button to take photo in between and the video still continues.

And with HTC smartphones it expected to have Beats Audio which provides lovely sound. It includes 1 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB internal storage capacity. With features like 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack, NFC, Bluetooth, DLNA, Wi FI, micro USB, 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera and others, this is the right handset representing HTC.

HTC One V Smartphone

Unlike HTC One X, One V is a mid range smartphone.  One X comes with 3.7 inches TFT display screen and has 1 Ghz single core processor along with 512 MB Ram. It includes 5 mega pixel camera and comes with 4 GB internal memory. The storage capacity can be extended up to 32 GB with a micro SD card slot and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich comes pre installed with this smartphone.

HTC One V

One can feel the difference in music hearing via Beats Audio on this smartphone and 1500 mAh battery will provide longer day of operation. Sadly this phone doesn’t come with Image Sense camera features since this smartphone is mid range phone.

HTC One X and One V Price

The high end One X smartphone is priced at Rs 38,000 and One V is priced at Rs 18,000 in India. This will be made available at various online portals like Flipkart, Junglee and various local stores in your city.

  1. Well, you might need to edit your news because One V does comes with ImageSense features and it is listed on HTC Website. And it also has Super LCD 2 screen and it is mentioned clearly on Flipkart.
