HTC has announced Desire 320 smartphone, the successor to the Desire 310 today. The HTC Desire 320 is an entry-level handset.The Desire 310 smartphone was announced a year back.
The HTC Desire 320 features a 4.5-inch display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. The handset is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6582M 1.3GHz processor.
It comes with Android 4.4 Jelly Bean as standard, has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage (expandable by up to a further 32GB through microSD), and has a 2,100mAh battery quoted as lasting for up to 12 hours of talk time.
On camera front, it comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera . The handset is 145g and the phone measures 132 x 67.79 x 10.5 mm. There’s a 0.3-megapixel camera on the front for video calling and low resolution selfies. the HTC Desire 320 allows you to get creative with mini movies using HTC’s Video Highlights functionality. Simply take your favourite photos and videos, select a sequence and a favourite track, to create an impressive show reel in seconds, ready to share with friends and family.
For connectivity there’s quad-band 2G and 3G with HSPA going up to 21Mbps. The phone uses microSIM cards. Anyway, there’s Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as can be expected. The 2,100mAh Li-Po battery is good for 12 hours of talking on a 3G network and 690 hours on standby.An FM radio is built into the device, and it can play back all manner of music and video files as you’d expect.
It will be available in both vanilla white and dark gray colour schemes.
