HTC has unveiled the new HTC Desire 526G+ dual SIM smartphone, to the entry-level market.
HTC Desire 526G+ features a 4.7 inch qHD Display (234 PPI). It is powered by 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and in 8GB and 16GB variants. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat.
On camera front, the smartphone comes with an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. On connectivity front, Desire 526G+ provide various connectivity options such as GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, WCDMA 900/2100MHz, 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS. The smartphone measures 139.8 x 69.65 x 9.8 mm and weighs at 154g. It is backed by 2000mAh battery.
The smartphone comes with HTC BlinkFeed. HTC Blinkfeed home screen gives the user the opportunity to join millions of HTC users who have customized their streams to deliver more relevant, up-to-date news and social updates direct to their home screens.
Earlier this week, the specs of Desire 626 were leaked. The phone will be a mid-range device with a MediaTek MT6572 Octa-Core processor, 2GB of RAM, although a variant with a Snapdragon 410 processor and 1GB RAM will also be made available for Chinese mobile carrier China Unicom.The Desire 626 will feature a 5″ HD display; it will also come with 16GB of storage, but no mention of microSD card and there will be a 2000mAh battery on board.
HTC Desire 526G+ dual SIM 8GB is exclusively on Snapdeal.com for Rs 10,400. It will also be available to major retailers in the country for Rs 11,400. Both the versions will be available from last week of January onwards.
