It’s not too long back that HTC Corporation announced Desire V their next phone in the Desire series. After a splendid show of HTC One X, One S and One V has certainly put up head up in competition with other smart phone manufacturers.
HTC Desire V
After exploiting high end smart phones market, it’s the turn of the mid range smart phones to get a stiff competition. Until now the mid range smart phone market is ruled by Samsung Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Ace Plus. The Samsung devices is on every one’s mouth when it comes to mid range smart phones but as HTC One V and Sony Xperia U, Xperia P were announced competition in against Samsung’s device, certainly HTC and Sony’s phone performs better than Galaxy Ace Plus. For HTC another device joins the competition, named Desire V which we caught two weeks back as it was available in the Ukraine market.
HTC Desire V is a dual SIM smart phone which is very thin measuring 9 mm of thickness and it’s made up of the solid rear cover. Desire V would be the little higher specifications than the HTC One V and it’s clear through the specifications that it would be spotted with 4 inches capacitive touchscreen display which provide a maximum resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Along with that you see the beautiful overlay of the HTC’s own Sense 4.0 use interface along with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which comes pre installed on the box content itself. Interestingly this would be the first HTC dual SIM smartphone in the Desire series itself. Dual SIM capabilities are meant for the users who want to classify their life in accordance with their personal calls and official calls and dual SIM Capabilities are handled by Desire V very beautifully.
The smart phone is powered with Cortex A5 processor clocked at 1 GHz frequency, along with that it comes with 5 mega pixel camera along with features like auto focus and LED backlight and we know that HTC phones are good in the camera compartment. It would be with all sensors like Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, G-Sensor, Accelerometer, Compass. It comes with a micro SD card slot where in you can pump in micro SD card to expand the memory along with the 4 GB of internal memory comes of scratch. For faster processing there is 512 MB of RAM acting along with device. Desire V comes with 25 GB of the free storage from Dropbox to create a cloud back up of your data, easy file sharing, collaborate documents and photos.
Along with that there are features like Wi Fi 802.11 b/g/n/, Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless file transfer, micro USB, GPS, 3.5 mm head phone jack, FM Radio. The phone is with 1650 mAh battery to provide enough battery life to the device. Along with that the device is with Beats Audio technology but no headsets were provided just like other HTC phones and you need to purchase it if you want it at $ 180 except its available in Deluxe edition in Taiwan and Singapore.
The device is available for purchase from the leading online retail store like Flipkart right now at a price of Rs 21,999 and it comes with 8 GB of the micro sd card from SanDisk for free. At present the handset color white is made available. The device is also available in Ukraine but what we see is the Desire V in silver black.
