HTC has been working on an entry-level 7-inch tablet called as HTC Desire T7 from last year. The tablet was also earlier spotted on Zauba listing in June 2015 revealing that the device will be called as HTC Desire T7 and will be priced around $170. Today, the tablet has surfaced on the GFXBench listing confirming most of the key specifications of the upcoming tablet. The HTC device has been listed with model number HTC IV5001-A and is supposed to be called as HTC Desire T7.
As per the GFXBench listing, the HTC Desire T7 (HTC IV5001-A) will feature a 6.9-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD display and will come powered by Spreadtrum SC8830 quad-core SoC quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with ARM Mali 400 MP2 GPU. The device will come with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and will also support TF card for further expansion. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC and microUSB 2.0 port.
On the camera front, the tablet will sport a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie images. As per the listing, the device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Apart from this, no other information about the upcoming tablet is revealed. We can expect the new HTC Desire T7 tablet to be unveiled in the MWC 2016 event. Although there is no official word from the company, we advise you to take this with a pinch of salt.
