The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is out and HTC One Series of smart phone will soon receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update schedule. But before that update goes, HTC is back of updating their Sensation series of smart phone with the scheduled & long delayed Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade.
Earlier it was HTC Sensation XE and XL received the OTA Android 4.0 ICS update and followed by EVO 3D very recently last weekend. Though this update will be released region by region all over the world and by the time its available, HTC developer team is ready with the same update to Incredible S smart phone.
Finally HTC Incredible S users can port their smart phone to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update. This is not just the software improvement but this upgrade will also upgrade the HTC Sense version to 3.6. One would have expected it HTC Sense 4 update but it might be included in the further upcoming Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.

If you are the proud owner of HTC Incredible S and looking to proceed with this upgrade then on your device you need to head to Settings > Phone Info and then Software Updates. Now finally tap on “Check Now” and check back the updates are available for you. It will take more than 20 to 30 minutes for you to apply these updates included with download time as the file size is over 250 MB. You can tap on Download Later option, to apply the updates later. Your phone would be automatically restarted when the updates are applied. Users from Russia have reported successful upgradation which means that you might be also able to update.
Soon HTC will upgrade Desire S, Desire HD and Rhyme with Android 4.0 and then we might see some Jelly Bean action on HTC phones. We are waiting for that as much as you are!
