A new HTC device codenamed ‘HIMA ACE’ to be called as ‘HTC One ME9’

Update: They are quite a few rumours about a new high-end HTC device codenamed ‘Hima Ace’. We already mentioned about the specifications of the devices and today we got a few more details about the device. We expect it to be named as ‘HTC One ME9’.

If the rumours are to believe, the upcoming smartphones will be made available for just Asia markets, and it’s already confirmed for India, Hong Kong and Taiwan. We may not see the device to be launched in US, Europe, Africa and Middle-East markets. HTC DotView Case for the device will also be launched. The expected price of the device will be around 3,500 RMB (approx $565). There are few images leaked which shows the all-metal structure of the device and a physical home button with finger scanner embedded into it. The HTC BoomSound speakers are located on both sides of the home button and also on top of the display.

A new report claims that HTC is currently working on its new smartphone One ME9 and it’s going by the codename “HTC Hima Ace”. The HTC Hima Ace is expected to release in the month of July.The smartphone will also feature fingerprint scanner.

The HTC Hima Ace will reportedly have some very impressive specs, including an ultra-sharp 5.2″ WQHD Display. In terms of processing power, the HTC Hima Ace will reportedly pack in a MediaTek MT6795 2.2GHz*8 64Bit and a 3 GB of RAM. It will include a 20-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing UltraPixel camera for video chat and selfies.

The smartphone will run on Android 5.0 with HTC Sense 7.0 on the top. The smartphone will be available in Classic Rose Gold, Gold Sepia and Meteor Gray colour options. The smartphone is expected to be priced at 3500 Chinese RMB(approx. 563USD). The One ME9(Hima_Ace) will be launched in Asia(India, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan are confirmed for now).This device will not be available in EMEA and USA market.

    MediaTek processor, lost half of the consumer base there itself.

    and whats with the complicated naming scheme???
