HTC One A9 with Metal Body & Android 6.0 Marshmallow Launched in India at Rs. 29,990

After launching the high-end HTC One A9 in the United States last month, Now the Taiwanese smartphone giant has officially launched the HTC One A9 smartphone in India. It is the first device from the company to sport all-metal body and comes with the design that mostly resembles the Apple’s iPhone 6s. The One A9 is priced at Rs. 29,990 and is available for sale exclusively online via Snapdeal.

Regarding specs, the HTC One A9 sports a 5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD IPS display with 441ppi as pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection on top of it. It comes powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 2TB.

On the photographic section, the smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with sapphire cover lens, dual tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, OIS, BSI sensor & RAW support. On the front, it has a 4MP Ultra-Pixel shooter for video chats and selfie lovers. Connectivity options the device include 4G-LTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, NFC and microUSB port. The device also sports a fingerprint sensor integrated into the physical home button for enhanced security

The handset comes backed by a 2150 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support that the company claims can last upto 16 hours of talk time and upto 18 days of standby time. It is worth noting that the HTC One A9 is the first non-Nexus device to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based HTC Sense 7 UI out of the box. The device measures just 7mm thickness weighs around 140 grams and is available in colors Opal Silver, Carbon Grey, Deep Garnet and Topaz Gold.
