The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, HTC has recently launched a new upper mid-range smartphone called as HTC One M9e in China. The One M9e is a new variant of the company’s 2015 flagship smartphone One M9 and is available for purchase via Tmall an e-commerce website in China priced at CNY 2,700 (approx Rs. 27,650).
Regarding specs, the HTC One M9e flaunts a 5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD display offering a pixel density of 440ppi. Under the hood is the Mediatek MT6795T Helio X10 64-bit Octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with 2GB RAM, 16Gb built-in storage with microSD card slot for expansion upto 128GB. The M9e is a single-sim smartphone and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based HTC Sense UI out of the box.
On the camera cordon, the device comes with a 13MP autofocus rear camera with BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, OIS (optical image stabilization and LED flash. Interestingly, the HTC One M9e features the same camera seen on the recently launched HTC One A9 smartphone. On the front, it has an UltraPixel shooter for the selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Infrared, DLNA, NFC and a microUSB port.
The smartphone features an aluminum unibody and like other HTC devices also comes with dual front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Audio technology for the terrific sound quality. The handset comes backed by a 2840mAh battery as seen on the One M9 that can last for complete one day on mixed usage. The dimensions of the device measure 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.61 mm weighs around 157 grams and will be available in colors- Gold, Silver, Gray and Black.
