HTC One ST, One SU and One SC Android Phones for China – Specs and Pricing

HTC has announced the trio of phones in the HTC One S range in China, and the three devices have a lot of similarities in the specifications but differ in design and the network through which they would be available in the Chinese retail market. The trio is named HTC One ST, One SU and One SC and each of them would come through a different mobile carrier.

The specifications would include a 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen having a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 1GHz dual-core STE NovaThor U8500 chipset with Mali400 GPU which would be supported by 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM memory which could be expanded by the usage of a MicroSD card, a Dual-SIM capability and a 5-megapixel rear camera, and all of them have the same 1800 mAh battery. The Dual SIM feature has been a regular trend in the Chinese market of Android phones, and the devices would have an Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich version, with the interface powered by the HTC Sense 4.1 version, which we saw in the latest HTC droid devices.

HTC One S Android Phones

Design wise, the One S series phones look a lot like the HTC One X but they differ in looks from all the sides. Only the One ST would have a China Mobile logo on the front side, and a name on the back too. The camera placement is one of the major differences on the back panel area, although all the three devices look quite elegant and good and we’re sure with the material that is shown, the devices should surely be very comfortable in hands. Here are the networks through which the various phones would be available:
HTC One ST – China Mobile
HTC One SU – China Unicorn
HTC One SC – China Telecom

All the three phones are priced at 2499 Yuan (309 Euros or 396 Dollars), and these are at a price range of somewhere at which the HTC One V and the HTC Desire X are available in the International market. Given that the phones have got the Dual SIM capability, and all the standard specifications keeping the device at a good level, the pricing of $400 USD won’t be a big pricing the manufacturer is asking.
