HTC has recently launched three new smartphones, and it seem like the company is on the way to regain its lost market share by launching multiple devices in all price segments. The brand recently unveiled two new mid-range smartphones in its Desire series dubbed as HTC Desire 828 and Desire 728 and a high-end smartphone in its One series called as HTC One A9. Now, yet another premium smartphone dubbed as HTC One X9 has been leaked on the popular Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo revealing few details of the upcoming smartphone.
As per the leaks, the smartphone comes with a model number E56 and is expected to sport a 2K display. The One X9 is rumored to come powered by upcoming Snapdragon 820 SoC or the Helio X20 deca-core SoC. The device will have 4GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of onboard storage variants, but few other rumors are suggesting that it will also be launched in 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage options.
On the camera front, the device will sport a 23MP rear camera and a 4MP UltraPixel front-facing shooter. The device will come backed by a 3500mAh battery and is expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Additionally the One X9 will sport a metal and will also feature dual HTC BoomSound speakers on the front of the device. The sources also claimed that the smartphone will be more cost efficient and will be priced around 2,999 Yuan (approx $472/Rs. 31,200).
