HTC One X9 with BoomSound Speakers & Metal Body Passes Through TENAA

Many rumors have surrounded the upcoming HTC One X9 smartphone in the last few weeks. Earlier, the device was expected to sport flagship specifications, but the sources later confirmed that the smartphone will come with mid-range specifications. Now, as the One X9 has received TENAA certification we are here with more details about the new smartphone.

As per the TENAA listing, the device sports a full metal body and comes with a whole new design when compared to other HTC smartphones. The One X9 will come with a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD IPS display and will come powered by 64-bit MediaTek Octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The device comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage with microSD card slot for expansion upto 1TB.

On the photography front, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, OIS and a 5MP front shooter to capture crisp selfie images. It supports dual sim dual standby and includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. The device also features the BoomSound speakers on the front, and also comes with textured power button as seen on the earlier launched HTC One A9.

The listing reveals that the device comes running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box, but we can expect the Marshmallow update to be rolled out soon. Its dimensions measure 153.2 x 75.9 x 7.99 mm weighs around 174 grams and will be available in colors- Grey and Silver.
