Huawei Launches P10 Lite with 4GB RAM & 12MP Camera in Europe at €349

At the MWC 2017, Huawei launched the P10 and P10 Plus smartphones as the successor to the last year’s P9 and P9 Plus. Just like their predecessors, the new P10 and P10 Plus also features Leica branded dual cameras on the rear. Now, the Almost three week after the latest flagship smartphone launch, Huawei now came up with a new mid-range called Huawei P10 Lite. It will be the successor to last year’s Huawei P9 Lite. Unlike the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus, the P10 Lite sports single camera sensor on the rear.

It sports the same specifications as on the Huawei Nova Lite, but the design looks completely different. The P10 Lite features a 5.2-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by the Kirin 658 octa-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz, an upgraded variant of the Kirin 655 SoC. There is 4GB of RAM which will be more than enough for multitasking. The P10 Lite also includes 32GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 128GB.

Talking about the cameras, there is a 12MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, and an 8MP front camera with fixed focus for selfies and video calls. The device runs on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat based EMUI 5.1. The P10 Lite is backed by a 3,100mAh non-removable battery that might give a day-long battery life. We can also find the fingerprint sensor on the rear that can be used as a shutter button for capturing selfies. As it includes NFC, the device can be used for mobile payment services like Android Pay where it is available.

The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers VoLTE for making HD voice calls. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm Audio port, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. Coming to the pricing and availability, the Huawei P10 Lite is priced at €349 and comes in White, Black, and Gold color options. It is currently available to pre-order and shipping might begin from next week.
