Huawei MediaPad Tablet Gets Android 4.0 ICS Update OTA

Earlier in the first week of May 2012 Huawei MediaPad the 7 inches tablet from the Chinese manufacturer received the official Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 upgrade but that was through the manual procedure to be done by the user end. Certainly within a month of time Huawei has ensured that they push this big upgrade via Over the Air too so that users who find the risk of upgrading or facing problem with instructions via manual update can easily deploy with this OTA upgrade.

The Earlier manual upgrade and the OTA upgrade here are one and the same and users who don’t receive the OTA upgrade or its not successful to them, they can apply via manual process. The dual core powered tablet is among those early devices by Huawei to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich and you can also call it as the early devices overall to receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade.

Earlier this tablet was on the Honeycomb 3.2 operating system and while going through successful upgrade, Android 4.0 on their tablet they wouldn’t feel much changes in the user interface but there is much improvement in the user performance and this upgrade add various functionalists like Android Face unlock feature, data usage in detailed and lot more.

So if you are the proud owner of the Huawei MediaPad tablet then please go through About Tablet through Settings. And then tab on the Check option under Update to proceed with the upgrade procedure.
