Jolla Launcher for Android Phones Coming Next Week on Google Play – Details

Jolla is set to bring the sailfish OS experience for Android devices starting next week. The launcher is ready to enter the testing process and Jolla is hunting for beta test volunteers of this app. Jolla is well known for its open Sailfish OS and Mer Core open source project This is a Chinese based company that came in to public with Sailfish in the year 2012.

The company is looking for some volunteers, who can help the Jolla team to test this launcher starting from next week. Moreover if you want to help them, you need to have at least a device that run Android 4.3 or higher and the company prefers the Nexus 4 or the Nexus 5 device. However it’s not a compulsion to have those Nexus Smart phones but you need to have any devices that run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or higher.

So if you like to test this app and you meet the mention criteria then you need to follow the steps that are mentioned below. Send a email to the address – launcher@jolla.com from the Google account and if you do not have one you can just create a new one and send the details like Your name, Place and the device that you are using. After sending the mail, you need to wait until you receive the Google Play installation link and the further instructions that they give.

There is one condition before you agree to the test this launcher. You should be ready to report and send some feedback via http://together.jolla.com. We presently do not know how this launcher will be working but hope that it will be a success. After the initial testing period this Jolla launcher will be available on the Google Play store for download and this will definitely give a boot to the company in bringing out their Smart phones in to the market.
