Kyocera Hydro & Rise Android 4.0 ICS Smart Phones – Specs & Features

The Android Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed phones are making it their way in the market quickly now. Since months we haven’t seen any smartphone from Kyocera but coming out with a big jump is the Kyocera which has launched two new trendy devices i.e., Kyocera Hydro and Kyocera Rise. This device is announced during the CTIA Wireless 2012 show in the New Orleans.

Kyocera Hydro

Kyocera Hydro comes with 3.5 inches HVGA IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display along with powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1 GHz. It comes with 3.2 mega pixel camera WVGA 30 fps includes LED flash. It comes with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system which is the latest in the town. It includes 1500 mAh battery which provides good enough battery life on the talk time.

Kyocera says Hydro is an water proof tablet and thus it receives the IP x 5 and IP x 7 certification and can easily withstand submerge of the full device in water for about one and a half meter for an approximate time of 30 minutes. This certainly would be a CDMA powered handset and interestingly this will feature slide out keypad as seen in the image below.

The best thing of this smartphones comes with its ability of IPS LCD display screen and this is certainly the good feature of it. Hydro definitely is a mid range smartphone and it comes with plastic built material.

Kyocera Rise is another smartphone announced by Kyocera recently apart from Kyocera Hydro. The details of this smartphone hasn’t be announced yet but we will soon update you when it is officially released by Kyocera. Don’t expect rumours surrounding this smartphone.
