We got the specifications of another device through the benchmarking site ‘GFXBench.’ The latest device is the Vibe X3 from Lenovo; it is the successor for last year’s Lenovo Vibe X2. The Vibe X2 got some mid-range with a unique layer design, but as per the results from GFXBench, the Vibe X3 got some high-end specifications.
The device will be powered by Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, coupled with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM. This is the same processor that powers LG G4It sports 4.9-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display, and There is 32GB of internal storage out of which only 24GB is available for the end user.
The other main upgrade apart from the processor is its camera; it comes with a 21MP rear camera and with autofocus and dual LED flash. It can also record video at 4K resolution. The front camera is of 8MP with Full HD recording.
It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based Vibe UI. From the images, we can also see a fingerprint scanner placed below the rear camera. On top of the device, there is an IR Blaster for remotely controlling electronics.
The design of the Vibe X3 is completely changed from Vibe X2; the latest device has a metal frame around the device with two front facing speakers. From the front, the design almost resembles with the recently launched ZTE Axon.
We will let you know the official specifications of the device once it is launched, Until then take this with a pinch of salt, since Lenovo hasn’t confirmed either of the Images nor Specifications. We expect it to be launched at upcoming IFA 2015 held in Berlin, Germany.
