LG G2 Vs Galaxy S4 Smartphone Comparison – Details

LG finally unveils its current flagship smartphone which is LG G2 in India which comes with a Bold change in Volume control placement which is at the rear side of the device.  So, in the freshest news, LG unveiled its new flagship smartphone which is G2 in India. After one of the bestselling flagship smartphones from LG which was Nexus 4 quite a while back, let’s check out this new smartphone with Samsung’s flagship smartphone.

Size & Weight:

With a thickness of 8.9mm of G2 smartphone its outclassed Galaxy S4 which comes with 7.9mm of thickness. While in terms of weight as well Galaxy S4 weighs mere 130 grams compared to the 143 grams weight of LG G2.

LG G2 comes with the 5.2 inches of screen size with HD Screen resolution of 1920 x 1080p, Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with 5” Screen, 1920 x 1080p resolution. In terms of PPY, Galaxy S4 scores a plus point as it comes with 441PPI while LG G2 comes with 423PPI. Both the devices come with 16:9 Aspect Ratio.

LG G2 comes with the Snapdragon 800 Processor clocked at 2.26GHz which is the cream of 2013’s processor line up, Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with the Exynos 5 Octa Core Processor clocked at 1.6GHz.

RAM & Storage:
Both the smartphones come with 2GB of RAM. While Galaxy S4 comes with 16/32*/64* GB of variant, LG G2 only comes with 16/32GB of variants. The only sad part is that LG G2 doesn’t come with the Micro SD Card Slot, while Galaxy S4 comes with the same.

LG G2 comes with an impressive resolution as it also comes with the Optical Image Stabilization which Galaxy S4 doesn’t come with.

Other Features: (NFC, Infrared & HiFi Audio)
While G2 and Galaxy S4 comes with the NFC and Infrared capabilities. G2 comes with the 24 bit, 192 KHz Hi Fi playback capability.

    I prefer to go for LG G2, it looks elegant and rich.

    the specification are almost close with LG having better processor and camera.

    You cannot compare apples to oranges. Once the Samsung Galaxy S5 comes out then we can make a comparison. If the S5 doesn’t have a large battery like the G2 does then I will either go with the LG G2 or the Sony Experia Z1. In May 2014 my Verizon contract runs out on my current phone which is a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus I515. Will see what other new flagship phones are available then.
