Micromax launched the Micromax Unite 2 last week with Android 4.4.2 KitKat that was a direct competition for Motorola Moto E, now the company has come up with another budget smart phone named as Canvas Engage A091 that will also run the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box. This device has been spotted online on eBay for Rs. 6,199 which is less than the Moto E and Micromax Unite 2 price and this will be the most affordable device in the market that will be running Android KitKat operating system.
Micromax Engage A091 sports a 4 inch WVGA touch screen display with 800 x 480 pixels resolutions unlike the Unite 2 that has a 4.7 inch display with the same resolutions. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with a lower 512 MB of RAM which is little a disappointment to see. The handset runs Android 4.4 KitKat Operating system out of the box and has a 1500 mAh battery on the back to power it that can deliver up to 5.5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time on 2G network.
The Micromax Engage A091 is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) variant with dual standby like the Unite 2 and Moto E, and will have a 5 MP rear facing camera accompanied with a VGA camera on the front, which is better than the Moto E smart phone that lacks the front camera, making it difficult for people making video calls and Skype calls. The on-board memory is 4 GB that can be extended up to 32 GB via microSD as it is in the case of the Moto E and Unite 2.
The connectivity of the Motorola Canvas Engage includes, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, GPS/ A-GPS and 3G. The device will also come with many preloaded apps like the Opera Mini, Kingsoft Office, Getit, M! Live and much more. The device will be coming in Black colour option and it is not been officially launched yet.
