Motorola has quietly launched a new smartphone in its highly successful Moto G lineup called as Moto G Turbo Edition in Mexico. The new smartphone comes with impressive specifications and will be available starting on November 13 priced at $283 (Rs. 18,600 approx).
Coming to its specifications, the Moto G Turbo Edition flaunts a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full-HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. Under the hood, it comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit Octa-core processor clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. It has 16GB of onboard that can be further expanded via a microSD card slot.
On the photography front, the device sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and a 5MP front-facing shooter for video calling and selfie lovers with f/2.2 aperture. Connectivity options on the dual sim capable device include 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.
The device comes packed with a 2470mAh battery that can easily last for one complete day on mixed usage and also supports Motorola’s Turbo charging technology. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. Like the Moto G (3rd Generation), the device is IPX7 certified that makes it water resistant, but not dust proof. As of now the device has been released only in the Mexican market and there is no word from the company about the availability in other markets. Stay tuned!

The smartphone comes with company’s ‘Moto Shattershield Technology’ and will be available in Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Asia Pacific markets starting from November. The Moto X Force features 5.4-inch 2K AMOLED shatterproof display, Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 21MP main camera with PDAF technology and 5MP front shooter. The device is backed by a 3760mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
