Moto G Turbo Edition with 5″ HD Display & 13MP Camera Launched in India at Rs. 14,499

After launching the Moto G Turbo Edition in Mexico last month, today Motorola has officially launched the Moto G Turbo Edition adding to its successful Moto G lineup in India. The new smartphone comes with powerful specifications and like other Motorola is available for sale exclusively online via Flipkart priced at Rs. 14,499.

Regarding specifications, the Moto G Turbo Edition comes with a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. The smartphone comes powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device has 16GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card slot upto 128GB.

On the camera cordon, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front-facing shooter with a f/2.2 aperture for video calling and perfect selfie captures. The device supports dual sim dual standby and comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.

The handset comes backed by a 2470mAh battery that can easily last for an entire day on mixed usage and as the name indicates it also supports Motorola’s Turbo Charging technology. Like the Moto G (3rd Generation), the device is IP67 certified that makes it water resistant, but not dust proof. The handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, and we can also expect it to be upgraded to Android Marshmallow in future. The dimensions of the device measure 142.1 x 72.4 x 11.6 mm weighs around 155 grams and is available in Black and White color variants.
